Fraxis Microneedling with Radio Frequency
What is RF Microneedling?RF Microneedling combines the use of 24, 30 gauge needles to penetrate the skin, along with radio frequency pulses to penetrate and deliver heat to the dermis. This procedure is done using numbing cream on the treated area, and then the application of the RF microneedling.
How does it work? The needles cause initial “damage” to the tissue which by itself will lead to new collagen formation. The addition of the radio frequency to the needles causes heating, which will provide for a more effective stimulation of collagen formation. This new collagen can smooth scars, tighten skin, and provide an overall more youthful look to the skin.
This latest technology gives us several options in treating the issues that most people are concerned with, safely and effectively, and without surgery. Some of the options for RF Microneedling include: fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, scarring and stretch marks.
